Athena Jahantigh’s animal sculptures are inspired by the ancient cave art of her native Persia. Living and working in France since 2003, she draws on these memories in a way that feels both personal and nostalgic, blending them with a modern sculptural approach. The result is a collection of small but powerful works. The animal forms, fabricated in both bronze and ceramic, are graceful yet strong with a quiet, commanding presence. They feel contemporary while remaining deeply connected to the past.
